Our multi-award winning Trust and Private office business is seeking a Business and Applications Solutions Architect to join our team in Jersey.
About the role
The Business and Applications Solutions Architect plays an important role within the Group IT team in managing business applications, providing development support for all projects and change programs.
The role will involve managing the Business Application team, who focus on the support and development of specific business application; validating and mapping business requirements into technical solution concepts and designs, including evaluating 3rd party technology and proposed solutions; providing development support for all projects and programs of change; developing application and business process solutions to the Accuro Group; pro-actively engaging with the business and IT to ensure solutions enable the required business functionality and capabilities, comply with standards and policies, re-use existing functionality and address operational stability requirements.
Previous experience in Applications and Technology Support is required, as well as experience in supporting the processing applications used by Accuro Group. Also required is a broad understanding of technology architecture, infrastructure and applications, both on-premises and in cloud (e.g., 365/Azure/SaaS); excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to work with a wide range of external and internal clients; high level planning skills to control effective use of resources and execute application delivery projects.
The role holder will report to the Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO).
