We are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to join us in Jersey or London. This is a full-time role, however part-time will also be considered.

About the role
This newly created role forms part of a small in-house Marketing team, supporting the Marketing Director and Brand and Marketing Manager in delivering marketing activity both locally and at a Group level (Jersey, London, Geneva and Mauritius). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their marketing career and eager to take on a new challenge. We are offering hands-on experience across the full marketing mix, guidance and support, and professional development in a dynamic team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support to the marketing team including sourcing and ordering branded goods, ordering business cards, creating and editing branded PowerPoint presentations and templates, filing marketing materials and ensuring the marketing library is up-to-date.
- Assisting in the design and production of corporate material, updating and maintaining associated marketing material in line with company branding.
- Drafting content for LinkedIn – both written and visual – ensuring it is in Accuro’s tone of voice and adheres to our brand visual identity.
- Producing monthly reporting for LinkedIn – downloading analytics data and adding to the master analytics spreadsheet for discussion with the Brand and Marketing Manager.
- Maintaining certain areas of the website e.g. uploading and removing vacancies, uploading thought leadership, uploading and removing new joiner and leaver bio pages.
- Providing events support – drafting invitations, sending emails from our email marketing system, managing guest lists, ensuring collateral is delivered and available on site (e.g. badges, marketing literature, gifts), and attending events to support in person when needed.
- Coordinating regular internal newsletters (monthly company newsletter and bi-weekly LinkedIn newsletter) – requesting and gathering content from around the business, building emails in our email marketing system, distributing internally.
About you
- Previous experience in a corporate marketing team OR a marketing related degree and looking for an entry level role in marketing.
- Knowledge of basic marketing principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills – Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Experience using an email marketing system (MailChimp or similar would be an advantage).
- Experience using design software desirable (AdobeSuite, Canva etc).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative thinker and quick learner.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to review and analyse data and identify trends.
- Organised, focused and conscientious with the ability to carry out set tasks unsupervised and work well independently.
- Possesses drive, self-motivation and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
