New Business Support Officer

About the role

The New Business Support Officer will work as part of our successful team in Geneva to give support to the Managing Director and the wider team in delivering high quality services. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career with excellent PowerPoint, Excel, and relevant digital media presentation skills who is eager to take on a new challenge. We are offering hands-on experience, guidance and support in a dynamic team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the New Business pipeline and liaising directly with sponsors as well as external intermediaries and prospects.
  • Enhance and manage the end-to-end on-boarding process, including the collection and verification of all CDD/KYC documentation and the completion of all required New Business forms, ensuring full compliance with on-boarding standards up to including the final client acceptance meeting.
  • Capture, update and coordinate any new business opportunities in the pipeline.
  • In liaison with the Head of compliance, contributing to the implementation of new business processes and IT issues (such as new client on-boarding, documentation, risk and IT).
  • Populating intermediaries database and new client information in the core systems.
  • Regularly participate in the New Business Forum and provide relevant information as required.
  • Implement post client on-boarding tasks and attend to any company incorporation process, if required.

About you

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant or transferrable discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in French and English
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Business Central and NetDocuments
  • Positive, proactive and supportive attitude toward work, intermediaries and colleagues
  • Methodical, thorough and attentive to detail
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Ability to complete work within time scales required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and to deal with conflicting priorities
  • Strong team player, working collaboratively with all teams but also fully independent with minimal supervision.
